Los Angeles(LA)

What a weekend! I went to visit a friend of mine in LA this weekend(Ontha) and I must say I enjoyed it soo much. When people travel different things stand out for them. Some people travel to taste different foods, others to learn about different customs and traditions and others to just simply get away.

Apart from the fact that it was Ontha's birthday and I absolutely LOVED seeing her and spending time with her,the shopping experience was also one of my favorite things we did this weekend.

I never really liked H&M but this weekend we found ourselves spending about 2hours in H&M and if that wasn't enough we STILL went back lol. ZAra and Aldo were also my favorite stops. We also stopped at the beach and then went out for a movie. It may have been a brief weekend in LA but it was great seeing my girl.

LA is absolutely gorgeous! The flight was annoyingly long though,I don't think I was prepared for it haha.

Urban vs Urban Outfitters

Is this the same shop? Urban in South Africa boats more nonchalant blues and browns yet Urban Outfitters here in the states has a more variety in colour. Is this the same store?

Honestly I am too lazy to google and find out. I have been stuck in bed since thanksgiving due to a cold. Thanksgiving was off the chaing(no I don't usually write like that lol). I woke up the next day feeling a bit ill but I doubt I can blame the "soul food". The weather change is getting the best of me and I really need to go out shopping for winter clothes,and mittens of course.

I found myself on my iPad about to shop online at Urban Outfitters when I recalled a Sales Assistant interview I had at the Urban Clothing store back in South Africa which I dint bag(but hey look at me now,I'm in the states). Anyway my next post will probably be about the attire I bought at Urban Outfitters and by then I will have been more informed about whether or not they are the same store.

LADY IN ALL BLACK

This blog post is actually long overdue. I have been meaning to share pictures of my new favorite jacket. First of all its leather and I never thought of myself in a leather jacket non the less I came across this jacket and fell INLOVE with it. I give props to the person who sketched it,I can literally wear it in four different ways if not more. I love designers who actually think about the apparel they are constructing for us everyday ladies.

When I took pictures of this outfit it finally hit me that I now know my style of dressing. I call it "lady swagg" lol. Anyway you will notice that I am overly obsessed with shopping at Love culture. When I first got here Forever 21 was my store but the day I set foot in Love Culture all was forgotten. I even prefer Love Culture over H&M(do you disagree?).

Goodbye anything to do with summer

I was really happy when I saw the sun come out today and decided I'd let my summer items come out to play for the last time. It's getting chilly now and last week Wednesday it even snowed a bit :O I was so happy! But I hate winter,it means layers and layers of clothes and jackets that aren't always fashionable but keep you warm.

Oh and I finally got my Michael Kors bag (happy dance) so I decided to pair it with a few items I love before going out.

On Saturday I decided to go out with a friend to the city just for a brief outing. Besides going to the love park in Philadelphia city,having a chai latte at Starbucks and a sandwich at Cosi restaurant we decided to do a little shopping. In the midst of our shopping rounds I spotted the most beautiful black leather handbag. A handbag designed by Mr Michael Kors. I immediately fell in love with the bag so I thought that I should blog some Michael Kors hand bags. Enjoy :)
